Celebrate the re-opening of the newly expanded Embark Gallery with “Spread,” a provocative exhibit exploring growth and transformation themes at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Artists exhibiting in “Spread” examine ideas of change, transition, multiplication, and metamorphosis through painting, installation art, performance, and other innovative methods of expression.

Exhibiting artists include: Amy Cella (San Francisco State University), Carmina Eliason (San Jose State University), Matthew Floriani (Mills College), Amber Imrie-Situnayake (Stanford University), Gianna Paniagua (California College of the Arts, CCA), and Meganne Rosen (CCA).

The “Spread” opening reception takes place on Friday, April 7, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The jurors of the show are Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture’s Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs, Aimee Le Duc; Director of Sales at Chandra Cerrito Gallery, Donna Napper; and multi-disciplinary artist and writer Sarah Thibault.
