Tangos for Piano

San Francisco International Arts Festival

May 27th @ 6:00 p.m.

Pablo Estigarribia presents his virtuosic, contemporary solo works, Tangos for Piano, his 2015 Gardel prize award-winning album that features a fresh take on the music of Buenos Aires. A trained classical and jazz pianist, Estigarribia provides a new perspective on tango music by combining classical elements and jazz harmonies with the traditional rhythm and structure of Argentine tango.

These performances by Pablo Estigarribia are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 100 performances by over 60 different artists, ensembles and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
