Ekaterina Shulman and Maksim Kurnikov discuss two key documents created by the Decembrists: the Constitution of Nikita Muravyov and the “Russian Truth” by Pavel Pestel. The speakers explain the ideas and sources that influenced the authors, the goals they pursued, and the extent to which their projects were realized.
In the second part of the meeting, the speakers answer questions from the audience.
