About: Catch a vintage film noir gem that spirals and twists through a murderous plot seamed with corruption, chaos, and sensuality. Orson Welles stars as a footloose Irish sailor who gets mixed up in murder when crooked lawyer Everett Sloane and his sultry wife Rita Hayworth invite him to set sail from New York to San Francisco. The characters run amok through the City by the Bay with forays into Golden Gate Park and Chinatown – including the legendary and much-copied shoot-out scene in a funhouse hall-of-mirrors.
