The San Francisco Girls Chorus (SFGC) presents Matthew Welch‘s Tomorrow’s Memories: A Little Manila Diary with Magic Theatre at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. SFGC commissioned Tomorrow’s Memories, a choral-opera based on the 1924 to 1928 diaries of Filipina immigrant Angeles Monrayo.

Guest artists for Tomorrow’s Memories include stage director Sean San José, guitarist Florante Aguilar, violinist Patti Kilroy, and percussionist Levy Lorenzo, with video design by Joan Osato. SFGC Artistic Director and Conductor Valérie Sainte-Agathe conducts Tomorrow’s Memories, which features more than 40 singers and guest artists.

Tomorrow’s Memories: A Little Manila Diary performances happen June 22, 2022 to June 25, 2022, Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $25 to $45.

Magic’s 2022 season passes are on sale at a special price of $100 per person. Each pass includes a ticket to Magic’s premiere production in May 2022 of Monument, Or Four Sisters (A Sloth Play). The pass also includes tickets for three productions from Magic’s New Program events presented by resident, collaborator, and partner organizations; which include Campo Santo, the San Francisco Girls Chorus, TigerBear Productions, Mix’d Ingrdnts, Crowded Fire Theater, San Francisco Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin, and more.
