WikiHow To Set Up An Art Exhibition: Completing The 10 Steps

Through Dec 13thThe San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) | Fort Mason Campus presents an informative and entertaining group show, “WikiHow To Set Up An Art Exhibition: Completing The 10 Steps,” in the SFAI Swell Gallery at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. This exhibit is a sequel to a previous SFAI show, “WikiHow To Set Up An Art Exhibition: Finding Other Artists To Exhibit With,” also curated by Gígja Jónsdóttir. Featuring work by eight artists, the second WikiHow exhibit examines structures and roles of contemporary art spaces and institutions and reflects on how these spaces influence social and cultural values and the boundaries of art and life.
Artists participating in the second “WikiHow” exhibit include: Douglas Angulo, Jessica Fertonani Cooke, Lucien Jeanprêtre, Gígja Jónsdóttir, Alexia Marouli, Sherwin Rio, Lauren Szabo, and Ian Mitchel Wallace.
