Join Embark Gallery and City College of San Francisco (CCSF) Fort Mason Art Campus for summer intensive art classes for middle and high-school children at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Four two-week classes taught by current students and recent graduates of San Francisco Bay Area art programs encourage experimentation and play. Each class features a grand finale pop-up art show at Embark Gallery on Friday, June 23, 2017.

Matthew Goldberg is the instructor for CCSF’s FMYA101 class, “Clay Inventions: Building in 3D,” for middle school students, which is offered Monday through Friday, June 12 through 23, 12:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. An additional middle-school class, FMYA102 “Alternative Printmaking Processes,” taught by Matt Smith Chávez-Delgado, takes place Monday through Friday, June 12 through 23, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

For high-school students, Tamara Suarez Porras teaches CCSF’s FMYA103, “Dark Room Photo Lab,” Monday through Friday, June 12 through 23, 12:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Becca Hall is the instructor for “Mixed Media Studio: Drawing and Painting Techniques,” taking place Monday through Friday, June 12 through 23, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
