Founded in San Francisco in 2010 at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC), Off the Grid unlocks the value of space through curated food and event design services, offering innovative public and private event production and scalable employee dining experiences. Credited with reviving and keeping street food alive in San Francisco, Off the Grid sets the stage for discovery with public markets in 15 Bay Area locations, including more than 60 events routinely serving more than 100,000 people weekly.
Each Friday evening from March to October, Off the Grid invites thousands of guests to dine, unwind and connect at their flagship destination market at FMCAC. With diverse street food from a rotating lineup of more than 30 of the Bay Area’s best mobile food creators, craft cocktails, beer and wine as well as live DJs, entertainment, and weekly themed programming, Fridays at Off the Grid are a staple of the FMCAC experience.
