Mobu 最舞 Dance Studio offers the DancEsteem program, which showcases the talents of dancers ranging from three to 60 years old. This program showcase presents a diverse range of dance styles, including contemporary modern dance, ballet, hip-hop, Irish dance, and more.
DancEsteem celebrates the talents of preschool through fifth-grade students, sixth- to 12th-grade students, and older.
MoBu 最舞 Dance Studio/DancEsteem Director Takami Craddock leads the production, and her choreography draws on the natural talents and interest children have to engage in dance.
This inherent interest helps children discover their identities and innate creativity through movement. Expect to see young dancers, from three-years-old to 18-years-old, performing a variety of dance forms, including contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, and hip hop.
Takami Craddock initiated the DancEsteem program in 1996 at the Noe Valley Ministry. Since then, the program has expanded to two locations on Church Street, offering a diverse range of dance styles to participants of all ages.
Currently, Mobu provides stretching and dance classes for older individuals. The studio endeavors to create an inclusive environment where individuals of all ages can engage in physical activities, dance, and movement.
