About: Our favorite toys return to the big screen, only to find Woody (Hanks) caught in the clutches of the ambitious toy collector Al McWhiggin (Knight).  Woody completes McWhiggin’s set of action figures from Woody’s Roundup, a popular 1950’s TV show, and a Japanese museum is eager to acquire the whole set.  Enter Buzz Lightyear (Allen) and the original Toy Story gang – Hamm (Ratzenberger), Mr. Potato Head (Rickles), Slinky Dog (Verney), and Rex (Shawn) – for the rescue.  Co-director John Lasseter built the story around his own experience as a toy collector, wondering how a toy feels when it moves from playmate to valuable object or antique.
