Marjan Farsad’s artistic journey began as an animator in Tehran before she gradually delved into the realm of songwriting. Upon relocating to Montreal in 2009, she pursued her studies in animation while simultaneously embarking on her debut album, inspired by the online success of her song “Porteghal.” Since then, Farsad has been consistently crafting songs that merge her visual artistry with music, resulting in enduring and authentic narratives. Presently based in Minnesota, she continues to produce animations and music, showcasing her unwavering creative spirit.
