The largest used book sale on the West Coast returns to Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture! The Friends of the San Francisco Public Library‘s 52nd Annual Fall Big Book Sale features more than 500,000 books and media: CDs, records and more; all for $3 or less. On Sunday all prices drop to $1, and all proceeds from the sale go towards supporting the San Francisco Public Library.

Members get early access to the Big Book Sale and have a chance to imbibe and snack on Tuesday, September 20, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Preview Sale and Reception. If you’re interested in becoming a member before this event, join online at the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library web site, in Readers Bookstore (Building C, ground floor), or at the door on September 20.
