DancEsteem Performance
MoBu Dance Studio
Through May 7thMoBu Dance Studio invites the public to DancEsteem’s 20th Annual Performance, “AYUMI: Past, Now, and Future,” at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. “AYUMI” celebrates the talents of students sixth grade and older (Saturday, May 6, 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 7, 5:00 p.m.) and preschool through fifth grade (Saturday, May 6, 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 7, 1:30 p.m.).
MoBu Dance Studio/DancEsteem Director Takami Craddock leads the production and her choreography draws on the natural talents and interest children have to engage in dance. This inherent interest helps children discover their identities and innate creativity through movement. Expect to see young dancers, from three-years-old to 18-years-old, performing a variety of dance forms, including contemporary, ballet, and hip hop.
