Comedy Night for Immigrant Rights

Experience great comedy for a good cause when BATS Improv hosts “Comedy Night For Immigrant Rights” in collaboration with the International Institute of the Bay Area at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The second annual immigrant rights comedy night features headline performers Aparna Nancherla, Irene Tu, Johan Miranda, and Zahra Noorbakhsh.

Nancharla is a performer and writer on the popular “Late Night With Seth Meyers” TV show. Tu has been named one of SFist’s “Bay Area’s 11 Best Stand-Up Comedians.” Miranda hosts the “Bad Hombres” podcast and Noorbakhsh describes herself as a “feminist Muslim Iranian American comedian.”

The $65 general admission ticket includes a pre-performance cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Museo Italo Americano in Building C. The $125 VIP ticket includes the pre-performance reception, reserved seating, complementary beverages, and free parking. The $150 VIP Plus ticket includes all the VIP ticket options as well as reserved seating in the front rows.
