The Bay School: Julius Caesar

Presented By

The Bay School San Francisco

Through May 20th

Talented theatrical students from The Bay School San Francisco create, act in, stage-manage, and handle every aspect of the performances in William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Julius Caesar at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Bay School students bring the production to life, including set design, lighting, and sound design, as well as playing the principal roles and brightening the stage with drama and storytelling.

Experience a new version of this classic play wherein victory, triumph, politics, betrayal, and murder form the key pieces of an epic disaster for Rome and for Caesar. The young performers master the complex action, characterizations, and dialogues of Shakespeare’s historical drama and even recite their lines in iambic pentameter verse, as originally written by the Bard.
