Presented By

MoBu Dance Studio / DancEsteem

Through May 6th

MoBu Dance Studio invites the public to DancEsteem’s 21st Annual Performance, “Dance Of The World,” at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. “Dance Of The World” celebrates the talents of sixth-grade students and older (Saturday, May 5, 2018, 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 6, 2018, 4:00 p.m.) and preschool through fifth-grade students (Saturday, May 5, 2018, 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 6, 2018, 1:00 p.m.). The performance showcases the dance styles of different countries and features a special guest dance group from Japan, the Sanae Hara Modern Dance Academy.

MoBu Dance Studio/DancEsteem Director Takami Craddock leads the production and her choreography draws on the natural talents and interest children have to engage in dance. This inherent interest helps children discover their identities and innate creativity through movement. Expect to see young dancers, from three-years-old to 18-years-old, performing a variety of dance forms, including contemporary, ballet, jazz, and hip hop.
