About: Though raised by elves at the North Pole, Buddy (Will Ferrell) doesn’t quite fit in at Santa’s workshop. When he learns from Papa Elf (Bob Newhart) that he’s an adopted human, and from Santa (Ed Asner) that his biological father Walter Hobbs (James Caan) has landed on the “naughty” list, Buddy heads to New York City to set his feelings and his father on the right track. But Buddy fails to be a city-slick human adult too — and mayhem ensues. When his strong Christmas spirit starts changing hearts though, Buddy finds he might just save everyone’s holiday — and Santa — too.
