Embark Gallery presents “Out Of Line,” where eight local artists redefine the practice of drawing at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. “Out Of Line” features artists using materials other than pen or pencil to create drawings — seeds, light, fabric, architectural drafting software, and even heavy metal particles from air pollution.

Participating artists are: Calum Craik (San Francisco State University, SFSU), Ricki Dwyer (University of California–Berkeley, UCB), Sarah Freiburg (UC-Davis), Ava Morton (California College of the Arts, CCA), Claire Rabkin (Mills College), Lindsay Rothwell (Mills), Sally Scopa (Stanford University), and Emily Van Engel (San Jose State University).

The opening reception takes place on Friday, April 12, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
