He will be irresistibly drawn to large cities,
where he will back up sewers, reverse street signs,
and steal everyone’s left shoe.”
Lilo & Stitch
About: Nineteen-year-old Nani Pelekai (Tia Carrere) works as a waitress and tries to provide for her younger sister Lilo (Daveigh Chase) after the death of their parents, but Lilo’s heartbreak and rambunctious spirit makes their lives together anything but easy. Enter Experiment 626 (Christopher Michael Sanders), an alien-engineered chaos agent who escapes incarceration by the Galactic Federation and crash lands on the sisters’ home of Kauaʻi, Hawaii. When Lilo adopts 626 as her pet dog “Stitch,” trouble follows — but so too does “ohana,” the broad Hawaiian concept of extended and intentional family.
