Through Jan 19thFOG Design+Art at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture celebrates innovation and features exhibits, installations, and discussions with top global artists, architects, designers, and style makers. Close to 50 prominent 20th- and 21st-century galleries and art dealers from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond transform the Festival Pavilion into the epicenter of art and design.
FOG Fair co-founder Stanlee Gatti has re-invigorated his acclaimed “21POP” installation with “21POP 2020 Seeing Things” to artfully celebrate makers with works by artisans for sale. Pop-up culinary experiences from top local restaurants such as A16 contribute to the fun shopping and dining atmosphere.
Unique and affordable items are also on sale in the Park Life Store & Gallery Pop-Up Shop. New for 2020 on the mezzanine is The Cordial’s The FOG Lounge, with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay. The JANE Coffee Lounge returns with espresso drinks, healthy sandwiches, and fresh baked goods.
The fair opens on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a special preview benefit gala ($175-$10,000) for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). The SFMOMA Arts Council hosts the ArtBites benefit breakfast and discussion on Friday, January 17, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Public hours for the fair are Thursday through Sunday, January 16 through January 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets cost $25 in advance or $32 at the door.
