Magic Theatre’s 2020 season continues with Ricardo Pérez González’s wickedly funny tragedy Don’t Eat The Mangos at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. González portrays life on his home island of Puerto Rico with compassion and humor through the saga of three sisters living just outside the capital city of San Juan.
A hurricane wreaks havoc on the beautiful island as the sisters struggle to care for their ailing father. Secrets and ugly truths are revealed that cause the siblings to confront their legacy, wrestle with betrayal, stay true to their familia and homeland, and seek a satisfying revenge.
The 2020 season subscriptions are on sale, ranging from $80 to $400. Individual tickets are also on sale, with prices ranging from $15 to $40 for previews, and $20 to $75 for the run of the play.
There is no performance on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
