“The New Age Of Magic Theatre: Gala 2021” is the theatrical event of the summer and takes place at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture at the Firehouse and outside the Festival Pavilion. Everyone is welcome to attend and admission to the gala is available for a variety of prices to ensure that everyone can go.

In addition to celebrating Magic’s new Artistic Director, Sean San José, the 2021 gala kicks off Magic’s long-awaited return to the theater with an absolute banger of a block party. Learn more about Magic’s plans to create new residencies, new commissions, new community partnerships, new performances, new writing and music series, and new dance programs.

Magic Gala 2021 is a wonderfully accessible outdoor event with food trucks, DJs, performances, drinks, and dancing; all while basking in the glow of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Main Party begins at 6:00 p.m. with Party People tickets available for $25.

The Magic Gala also offers a silent auction, wine cellar raffle, and games; all at one event. Join Magic Theatre for the Bay Love Pre-Event Cocktail Hour at 5:00 p.m. (tickets are $250). Enjoy cocktail bites and drinks while Sean San José shares his new visions for theater and Magic’s upcoming season. This cocktail hour is co-hosted by Margo Hall (Artistic Director, Lorraine Hansberry Theater) and Rotimi Agbabiaka.

Also featured at the gala are special performers and guests, Tongo Eisen-Martin (San Francisco Poet Laureate), DJ Wonway Posibul, DJ Lady Ryan, The Genius Wesley Trio, Rising Rhythm Dance SF,  and Sammay Dizon Productions.
