Magic Theatre: Riding The Currents of The Wilding Wind

Presented By

A Todo Dar, Magic Theatre & Campo Santo

Through Apr 21st

A Todo Dar Productions, Magic Theatre, and Campo Santo present Riding The Currents Of The Wilding Wind, a theatrical concert by Martha Gonzalez and Virginia Grise, in Building D at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Directed by Kendra Ware, the performance runs April 18 to 21, 2024;  Thursday through Saturday, 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 4:00 p.m.

Riding The Currents Of The Wilding Wind is a live performance, a concert, an album, and theater. Stories from Their Dogs Came With Them by Helena María Viramontes are brought to life in the multifaceted sonic landscape — a mix of Mexican and Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz, funk, rock, and gospel — performed by Martha Gonzalez, Tylana Enomoto, and Juan Perez. The music is matched by a rich visual world created by set designer Tanya Orellana, video artist Yee Eun Nam, lighting designer gg Torres, and costume designer David Arevalo.
