Through Feb 4th

Support Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture resident organization Magic Theatre in its mission to nurture playwrights and new play development at the Martha Heasley Cox Virtual Virgin Play Festival 2020-2021. Magic Theatre presents an exclusive insider’s look into new play development during the Virtual Virgin Play Festival 2020-2021, December 17, 2020 through February 4, 2021. The festival features five playwrights reading their own work in the virtual spotlight online. A virtual Artists Roundtable addresses creative theater issues during a difficult time.

The final reading in the 2020-2021 Virgin Play Festival series is Last Hermanos. The playwright Exal Iraheta reads his play about two brothers trying to escape across the border in a dystopian America where being perceived as “illegal” results in a life sentence.  The reading takes place on Tuesday, February 4, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. Reserve a free viewing.
