Through Oct 30thTalented theater students from the Bay School of San Francisco take on the Bard with their production of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Audiences will be treated to the tale that focuses on the star-crossed lovers Benedick and Beatrice and the antics of their entourage: Prince Don Pedro, love-struck Claudio, Beatrice’s uncle Leonato, Constable Dogberry, a jester in disguise, and other classic characters. This timeless comedy involves much frivolity, scheming, secret meetings in the gardens, misunderstandings, and mischief as characters fall in and out of love and double-cross one another for fun.
