Celebrating Italy’s Liberation Day” happens on Thursday, April 25, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Douglas Kenning presents “The Advent Of The Italian Republic: Historical & Political Implications,” followed by a testimonial, and screenings of documentaries focused on the global impact of the song “Bella Ciao.” Enjoy appetizers and refreshments by C’era Una Volta and wine by COMITES San Francisco. The “Watercolor Workshop: Drawing & Painting Italian City- & Landscapes From Your Travel Photos” takes place on three Saturdays, May 4 through May 18, 2024, 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Artist and teacher Pamela Rhodes of ARTroads leads this workshop, which include lectures, demonstrations, practice exercises, reference handouts, and a materials list (materials not included in registration).
