To celebrate FLAX art & design’s move to Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, the store is hosting a public party all weekend! Stop by the newly remodeled store space on the ground level of Landmark Building D to hear live music by FMCAC resident organization Blue Bear School of Music and local band Great Spirit. In between sets, check out art and craft workshops, grab some popcorn, and peruse the store for opening day sales.

And if you’re feeling inspired, check out FLAX’s new Plein Air Program — a package that includes everything you need to watercolor a painting of the beautiful bay view. The $65 one-day program on Saturday (marked down to $45 for opening day) includes instruction by local artist Janet Jacobs.
