R & F Handmade Paints offers a unique workshop on how to use pigment sticks to transform oil painting techniques and effects with the FLAX art & design Store at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Join R&F artist Cari Hernandez for a demonstration and hands-on workshop using the vividly colored pigment sticks.

Pigment sticks are infused with rich oil-based paint colors and have the soft consistency of lipstick; making them perfect for moving beyond the brush to apply textures and gestures to painting surfaces. The strokes applied with pigment sticks share the same durability, fluidity, and subtlety of traditional oil paints.
