For Winter 2021, the San Francisco Children’s Art Center (SFCAC) at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) offers virtual class options for children ages three years through 11 years old (grades kindergarten through five and pre-school). The six-week Early Winter Session runs from Tuesday, January 5, 2021 through Saturday, February 13, 2021. The six-week Late Winter Session begins Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and finishes Saturday, March 27, 2021.
Each six-week class includes an art kit with all necessary materials delivered to participants’ homes (please register for classes at lest one week in advance to ensure timely arrival of the art kits).
“Art Studio At Home” is designed for children ages three-and-one-half to five-and-one-half years old (3.5 to 5.5 years). “Art Studio At Home” meets online on Thursdays, January 7, 2021 through February 11, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Late Winter “Art Studio At Home” sessions happen online on Saturdays, February 20, 2021 through March 27, 2021, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ($150 per session)
“Drawing & Painting From Observation & Imagination” for children in grades one through five meets online on Tuesdays, January 5, 2021 through February 9, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Late Winter “Drawing & Painting” sessions occur online on Thursdays, February 18, 2021 through March 25, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ($200 per session)
“Sculpture: Creativity in Three Dimensions” for children in grades one through five meets online on Thursdays, January 7, 2021 through February 11, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Late Winter “Sculpture” sessions happen online on Tuesdays, February 16, 2021 through March 23, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ($200 per session)
Save $50 by signing up for 12 weeks of classes. The 12-weeks of classes can be two six-week classes, one in the Early Winter Session and the other in the Late Winter Session, or two different six-week classes in either of the Winter sessions.
