Thousands of runners and race spectators converge on Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture for the San Francisco Marathon Health & Fitness Expo. Held on Friday and Saturday before race day — Sunday, July 23, 2023 — the Marathon Expo offers the latest information, entertainment, products, and demonstrations on running techniques, gear, health, and sports nutrition.

Runners can pick up their bib numbers, timing chips, sweats drop-off bags, and official marathon running shirts. (Picking up runner’s gear on Friday July 21, 2023 is highly recommended to avoid crowds.) All visitors can sample electrolyte drinks, energy chews, protein bars, and much more.

The San Francisco Marathon and Expo event includes races for all levels and running abilities and is a beautiful way to spend a day on the waterfront.
