#BlackLivesMatter Artist Panel Discussion

San Francisco International Arts Festival

May 22nd @ 3:30 p.m.

Free Admission

Several artists in this year’s San Francisco International Arts Festival have projects that speak directly to the issue of systematic police violence perpetrated against people of color, specifically relating to the Black Lives Matter movement. Panelists Amikaeyla Gaston, Charlie Levin, Jon Jang, Genny Lim and Dr. Anthony Brown discuss their work and the role of the artist within broader socio-political movements; moderated by Ericka Huggins.

This panel is hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 19 – June 5 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features over 100 performances by 50 different ensembles, as well as an expansive arts exhibition celebrating 100 years of the Dada Movement. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass. More details HERE.
