Quantum Desire

San Francisco International Arts Festival

Through Jun 5th

Inferno Theatre has embarked on an investigation of the way quantum theory influences love and desire. “Quantum Desire” follows “Quantum Love,” Inferno’s first exploration of how gravitational pull and accelerating neutrons define the forces of love and attraction. The skilled physical theater ensemble re-enacts how desire ripples out of bodies into space and the way that rapture binds lovers in quantum entanglements.

These performances by Inferno Theatre are are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 19 – June 5 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 100 performances by 50 different ensembles, as well as an expansive arts exhibition celebrating 100 years of the Dada Movement.
