The SFMOMA Artists Gallery presents a painting exhibit featuring work by Mirang Wonne and Fumiyo Yoshikawa at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Wonne expresses natural forms in unexpected media, such as industrial materials that amplify the organic intensity of the abstracted shapes. Yoshikawa employs traditional Japanese brush painting methods known as nihonga and sumi-e to create compositions reflecting nature and abstractions.
