Embark Gallery’s “#Simulacra” exhibit at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture explores the influences of media and visual culture on value systems and ideologies. The juried exhibit includes photography, book arts, and installations by seven student artists enrolled at local art institutions.

Participating artists are: Mike Cole (University of California–Davis), Shaghayegh Cyrous (California College of the Arts, CCA), Shisi Huang (San Francisco Art Institute, SFAI), Jacqueline Sherlock Norheim (Mills College), Tamara Porras (CCA), Marcela Pardo Ariza (SFAI), and Qian Zhao (CCA).
