About: In this story by Eddie Murphy, Akeem Joffer (Murphy) leaves his home of Zamunda (a fictional country in Africa) and his role as the crown prince to find true love in the States. With his close friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall), the duo land in Queens and disguise themselves as regular working guys. Will the right woman fall in love with Akeem the man and not Prince Joffer, the future king? With character cameos from director Landis’ hit Trading Places and a brief appearance from Samuel L. Jackson, Coming to America proved a blockbuster hit. A long awaited sequel arrives this March.
