About: Produced during its 1990’s “Renaissance” period, Disney’s 32nd animated feature tells the story of a young lion, Simba, who will eventually succeed his father Mufasa as King of the Pride Lands. His Uncle Scar, who covets the throne, has other plans – and Simba’s life is thrown off course. On his own in the jungle, Simba joins other outcasts, gathers new and old friends, and learns the Circle of Life – making him ready for a return to his home and to his rightful future.
