Hocus Pocus
About: Set on Halloween night in 1993, former Angeleno Max Dennison (Katz) and his younger sister Dani (Birch) go trick-or-treating in their new town of Salem, Massachusetts. Trying to impress new friend Allison (Shaw), they visit the Sanderson cottage, supposedly home of three sisters hung for witchcraft 300 years ago. Lighting an enchanted candle inside, Max restores the witches – Winifred (Midler), Sarah (Jessica Parker), and Mary (Najimy) – who return hungry for children. With the help of a long-lived black cat (Marsden), Max, Allison, and Dani must stop the evil trio before they gobble up all the young people in town.
