About: In Wes Craven’s self-aware reimagination of slasher films, high school student Sidney Prescott (Campbell) finds herself pursued by a masked and mysterious serial killer. As her suburb’s body count mounts, and suspicions swirl around the killer’s identity, the rules of films like Halloween (1978), Friday the 13th (1980) and Craven’s iconic A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) must be observed, acknowledged, and maybe even broken.
