About: Learning that his ex-wife Etheline (Huston) plans to marry her accountant, Henry Sherman (Glover), Royal Tenenbaum feigns a terminal illness and moves back into his former home. Hoping to reconcile with Etheline and with their three gifted children — former math wiz and over-protective father Chas (Stiller); former award-winning high school playwright and adopted daughter Margot (Paltrow); and former tennis prodigy Richie (Luke Wilson) — the family grapples with their deep wells of present-day disappointment and any possible sparks for future happiness.
