Attend an indoor party in the pines when The Guardsmen transform Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture’s Festival Pavilion into a winter wonderland of beautiful holiday trees. Purchase trees, wreaths, garlands, and ornaments for holiday decorating and attend the festive special events The Guardsmen host within the fragrant tree lot.
Among the options for celebrating the season are the free Monday Night Football viewing (November 28 and December 12, 5:30-8:00 p.m.); and Kid’s Day with arts and crafts, cookie decorating, music, and multiple bounce houses (Friday, December 2, 2:00-7:30 p.m.).
New for 2016 is The Guardsmen Tree Lot Boutique, featuring great gift ideas from vendors such as Bubble (children’s items), India Hicks (accessories), IVI Vision (eyewear), J. Hilburn (men’s apparel), Little Pickle Stories (children’s books), Metro Man (mens’ gifts), and Stella & Dot (womens’ gifts). Boutique hours are: Friday and Saturday, November 26 and 27, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, December 1 and 2, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Thursday, December 8, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ticket prices benefit youth programs at paid events such as the Night of Bluegrass and Farm To Table Dinner ($95-$105, Thursday, December 1, 6:00-9:00 p.m.), Crab Feed ($85-$95, Thursday, December 8, 6:00-11:30 p.m.), and the epic Tree Lot Party ($80-$145-$5,000, Saturday, December 17, 9:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m.). The Happy Hour with the Junior League event (Friday, December 2, 6:00-8:30 p.m.) offers drinks and appetizers for a suggested $10 donation.
