William Castellana: Brooklyn & Botanicals Exhibit

Presented By

Museo Italo Americano

The Museo Italo Americano presents “Brooklyn & Botanicals,” an exhibit of work by internationally acclaimed photographer William Castellana. The show includes 37 black-and-white images from Castellana’s street photography series set in the South Williamsburg neighborhood of New York City’s Brooklyn borough and 21 photographs from  his award-winning still life “Botanicals” series.

During his 20-year career, Castellana has focused mainly on fine art still life photography. Recently, he began capturing images of the street life of a large community of Hasidic Jews near his apartment in the South Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, New York. The Museo exhibit surveys both aspects of Castellana’s art and is a great introduction to his work.

Museo hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. with some holiday closures.
