Join San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) 2018 performers for a multifaceted lunar ritual at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC). Welcome the holiday season and celebrate the winter full moon with food, wine, ritual, and song. This event is a fundraiser for and preview of the 2018 SFIAF program at FMCAC from May 24 to June 3, 2018.

Following a 5:30 p.m. dinner, 6:00 p.m. announcement of the 2018 SFIAF program, and the 6:30 p.m. moon ritual; internationally acclaimed vocalist Lua Hadar performs, as do members of Ushanjali School of Dance. Ryosuke Ueda performs live-action, full-moon-inspired calligraphy, accompanied by Shura Taylor on guzheng and classical Chinese verse. Youth members of the Ushanjali ensemble preview some of SFIAF 2018’s family program with Bharatanatyam Indian Dance.
