Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture resident group Young Performers Theatre (YPT) offers in-person Winter 2022 classes for vaccinated children who love the stage. The classes start Monday, February 21, 2022 and continue through Thursday, April 7, 2022.

The season includes “Creative Drama” for ages five to seven years (grades one and two), which meets on Mondays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., February 21, 2022 through May 30, 2022. The final class features a performance for family and friends. Tuition is $390.

Also available is “Presenting … The Show!” for students in grades three through five, which meets on Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., from February 22, 2022 through May 24, 2022. Students present a show on the final day of class. Tuition is $400.

“Presenting … The Show, Act II!” offers students in grades four through seven a workshop to create characters and narratives on Thursdays, February 24, 2022 through May 26, 2022, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The final class date results in a play staged for a live audience. Tuition is $400.
