Scientist Roberto Pieraccini, author of  The Voice in the Machine, presents an illustrated lecture, “Talking to Robots,” in conjunction with San Francisco’s Leonardo da Vinci Society and the Museo Italo Americano.

At the lecture you’ll get to learn about the next wave of robotics, such as Jibo — the world’s first social robot for your house. According to the Jibo site, the robot is “Friendly, helpful and intelligent. He can sense and respond, and learns as you engage with him.”
