Through Jun 3rd

Brian Copeland stars in The Scion, another one-person show about the curious community of San Leandro, CA at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The Scion chronicles the story of Stuart Alexander, heir to a San Leandro sausage-making dynasty who gunned down three meat inspectors one day when they pressured him to give them access to his sausage factory for an inspection. Copeland has found storytelling inspiration in San Leandro, which was also the setting for his incredibly successful show, Not A Genuine Black Man.

Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) hosts these performances by Brian Copeland as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 24, 2018 to June 3, 2018 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 60 performances by close to 40 different artists, ensembles, and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
