Blue Bear School of Music offers a great variety of weekday summer camps for children and teens in grades three through 12 at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Camp topics include rock ‘n’ roll, songwriting, guitar, jazz guitar, vocal improv, and creating and recording. Rock ‘n’ roll camps are open to guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboard players, and singers. (Check Blue Bear’s Camp FAQs for what equipment to bring.)

Girls Rock. (Grades four through seven) June 12-16 and July 31-August 4. $495
Get Ready To Rock. (Grades four through seven) July 10-14. $550
Rock U 1. (Grades six through eight) June 19-23 and July 24-28. $550
Rock U 2. (Grades seven through 10) June 12-16 and July 17-21. $550
Rock U 3. (Grades eight through 12) July 31-August 4. $550
Songwriting 1. (Grades six through nine) June 26-30. $575
Songwriting 2. (Grades eight through 12) August 7-11. $575
Jazz Guitar Camp. (Grades eight through 12) July 5-7. $300
Rock Guitar Camp. (Grades seven through 11) July 17-21. $495
Creating and Recording Music Camp. (Grades nine through 12) June 26-30, plus possible extended session July 5-7. $495 (plus $295 for three-day extension)
Vocal Improv For Kids. (Grades three and four) July 24-28, 1:00-3:30 p.m. $250
