About: Columbia University scientists Peter Venkman (Murray), Raymond Stantz (Aykroyd), and Egon Spengler (Ramis) push their paranormal research beyond the acceptable bounds of academe and get fired by their dean.  Remaking themselves as the entrepreneurial “Ghostbusters,” the trio develop occult containing technology and an ad campaign for their services.  Business booms, a fourth Ghostbuster Winston Zeddemore (Hudson) joins the team, and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Inspector Walter Peck (Atherton) begins to investigate their actions.  When musician Dana Barrett (Weaver) requests help with an otherworldly presence manifesting itself through her refrigerator, the stage is set for an epic triangulation of law enforcement, an ancient god of destruction, and our scruffy heroes.
