On Friday, September 6, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., join Fort Mason Art, the American Indian Cultural District, FOR-SITE, Goody Café, Haines Gallery, Museo Italo Americano, SF Camerawork, and the San Francisco Children’s Art Center for pop-up artist and curator talks and a painting session at the free Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture (FMCAC) Art Walk.

The Art Walk opens at 5:00 p.m. and features pop-up artist and curator talks across campus; a new exhibition, an opening reception, a live performance, and an art workshop in Landmark Building C; an outdoor painting commission in the public art corridor between Landmark Buildings B and C; and a public art commission at Building B, the Gateway Pavilion at Pier 2, and the Festival Pavilion at Pier 3. During the Fall 2024 Art Walk, FMCAC resident establishments Radhaus, Greens Restaurant, and The Interval at Long Now offer dining and drinking options in Landmark Building A.

Goody Café in Building C offers free popcorn (organic, popped fresh) and $15 Crust Luv artisan pizza for sale, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Margherita Pie: fresh mozzarella, crushed tomatoes, basil, olive oil and White Pie: Fior di latte, gorgonzola, provolone, and taleggio) Hot and cold drinks are available for purchase. Goody also features a “Looking At Animals” show.

A collection of historic posters commemorating decades of Indigenous arts and cultural events held at FMCAC, presented by FMCAC resident AICD, is on view in the lobby of Building D.
