Magic’s new version of celebrating new plays is a table read of new scripts that gets messy and celebrates process.

Anna Moench’s A Christmas Carol, Again brings back the holiday chestnut with a new twist. It may not be the most wonderful time of the year backstage where excessive behind-the-scenes drama is taking over the roles of the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. A Christmas Carol, Again looks at the green room antics in several productions of the holiday favorite where everything is far from merry and bright.

Magic Theatre plans to offer several smaller-scale, new-play workshops throughout the season and invites audience members to participate in this experiment in play development.
