Magic Theatre’s 2022 season continues with a premiere of Sam Chanse‘s Monument, Or Four Sisters (A Sloth Play) at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Merging the antics of four unusual sisters, an epic road trip, and four talking sloths, Monument is a comedy with claws that explores how to build resilience after unimaginable loss.

Monument starts with 8:00 p.m. previews on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022, 8:00 p.m., and Friday, May 13, 2022, 8:00 p.m. Opening night is Saturday, May 14, 2022, 8:00 p.m. Monument continues May 15, 2022 through May 29, 2022; Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $20 to $70.

Magic’s 2022 season passes are on sale at a special price of $100 per person. Each pass includes four tickets — two tickets to Magic’s premiere production of Monument, Or Four Sisters (A Sloth Play). The pass also includes two tickets for two productions from Magic’s New Program events presented by resident, collaborator, and partner organizations; which include Campo Santo, Mix’d Ingrdnts, Crowded Fire Theater, San Francisco Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin, and more.
